We Love Volunteers at Enchanted Rock!

From the Scenic View Point on Loop Trail

Hello everyone,
Our new Enchanted Rock SNA Superintendent, Doug Cochran, is very interested in community involvement.  Here is the opportunity to take care of the natural area we love so much. We are all aware of the need to protect the unique natural resources and we know the most effective way to do that is through public education. In addition to daily operations (office, maintenance, etc) the park is asking for volunteers to train as interpretive "docents" to be out and about answering visitor questions, providing impromptu tours, vernal pool protection, etc. There is also a need for invasive plant control for you TMN and NPSoT folks! Please consider offering your talents, ideas and skills to ERSNA's new volunteer program. This volunteer program will be managed by ERSNA's Interpreter/Volunteer Coordinator, James Arno. Friends of Enchanted Rock will provide support and assistance. Let's help them make this important effort a success!
